Lights Camera Score 2025 participant schools contribute to a UNESCO ASPnet schools’ network initiative entitled, ‘Seeds of Hope’.
Seeds of Hope is an important development of the Lights Camera Score project which Three Stones delivers alongside it’s music education partner Little People Big Noise.
For 2025, the project responded to the changing media environment around our young people. The participant schools contributed to a UNESCO ASPnet schools’ network initiative entitled, ‘Seeds of Hope’.All the films made this year explored issues of sustainability and the natural environment taking inspiration from the humble seed.
Lights Camera Score sees professional creatives co-authoring story, music and film in schools across the country. Whilst the project music teams delivered timetables lessons or community engagements delivering composition and instrumental lessons which encourage young people to create emotive musical soundtracks, the Three Stones team turn student and pupil narratives into fully animated short films.
The Three Stones team have been amazed by the thought-provoking narratives generated by the young storytellers at the heart of the project. The 2025 ‘Seeds of Hope’ Lights Camera Score projects have been supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Delivered with the support of the English Chamber Orchestra and in association with the THAMES Music Service, the Essex Music Service, Calderdale Council, and Calderdale Music.
