Three Stones Media welcomes director Saloum N’Jie to the team.

Three Stones Media is delighted to welcome director Saloum N’Jie to the team.  He will be working with us on a number of new developments including a new adaptation of ‘Broken Time’ and an exciting feature film project entering an advanced stage of development.

Before joining the directing team of Bridgerton in 2020 Saloum worked on a variety of big budget television and feature film productions.

The first black AD to join the James Bond franchise on Tomorrow Never Dies, Saloum has developed his craft on the likes of World War Z, Pirates of the Caribbean, Maleficent and Wrath of The Titans. As a director and second unit director Saloum contributed to series from Coronation Street to Luther as well as directing film shorts including My Fare Lady and The Baobab Boys.

Saloum’s love of music is evident in his work on promos for Sony records for artists such as Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, Chip and D Double E. Since 2022, Saloum has choregraphed major set-piece sequences on Bridgerton.

During lockdown Saloum directed content for the Nottinghill Online Carnival Access All Areas from sound systems, costume-masquerades, notable singers such as Omar and Terri Walker at Abbey Road Studios, and steel bands at the Royal Albert Hall. The project became the world’s first virtual, online carnival. The Samsung Colours of Carnival trailer was also featured on the iconic Piccadilly Circus 3D Billboard that launched the online carnival event

Saloum is represented by Nick Marston at The Curtis Brown Group.
